Liu Jingdong：The Trinity of Capital, World History and Communism-An Investigation of Das Kapital and Its Manuscripts

Abstract: Marx’s capital theory contains the historical schema and theoretical structure of the trinity of capital, world history and communism. In Das Kapital and its manuscripts, Marx’s critical investigation of the historical and class nature of capital concept reveals the historical logic of the inner connection between the profound crisis of production mode of capital and the world market and communism, and clarifies the relationship between the self-sublation of capitalist ownership and the historical reconstruction of social individual ownership. It looks ahead to the historical trend of the transition from the necessity realm of capitalism to the freedom realm of communism. The ultimate goal of Marx’s critique of political economy is the communist society, which is the free man association based on the principles of free personality and human emancipation.
