Marxist religious outlook is a thoroughly atheistic outlook and sticking to atheism means sticking to the Marxist religious outlook. Science possesses both truth and value, that is, scientific research pursues both truth and value. The truth and value in Marxist religious studies is highly unified. It is necessary to stick to atheism and truth in religious studies. Respecting people’s freedom of religion, standing fast on the ideological position of atheism and introducing atheism to the non-religious people, are acts that would protect the fundamental interests of the vast majority of people in China with realistic and scientific attitude.
