Chinese path to modernization is the Chinese practice and version of modern civilization in the perspective of historical materialism, which creates a successful model for developing countries to explore modernization independently, and also constitutes the narrative theme of the basic theory of scientific socialism in the 21st century. From the perspective of historical logic and practice, Chinese path to modernization is a typical modernization driven by and oriented by political parties. The leadership of the CPC is the most prominent feature and greatest advantage of Chinese path to modernization: the nature and mission of the party determine the fundamental characteristics and direction of Chinese path to modernization, the party's philosophical wisdom shapes the logo and advantages of Chinese path to modernization, the party’s excellent governance ability creates the great achievements of Chinese path to modernization, and the party’s broad mind expands the pattern and strength of Chinese path to modernization. Fully understanding and grasping the practical mechanism and development logic of the Party’s leadership in Chinese path to modernization will help strengthen the Party’s leadership confidence in the intertwined and turbulent “two overall situations”, and further enhance the political determination, strategic confidence and historical initiative to promote Chinese path to modernization.
