As a way of human existence, community is closely related to human freedom and liberation. Marx and Engels critically inherited the previous community thought, and based on the scientific perspective of historical materialism, they took realistic people as the value destination of their theory, revealed the development track of human society from “naturally formed community” to “real community” through “illusory community”, analyzed the conditions for realizing real community, achieving the transcendent reform of previous community thought in theoretical starting point, research focus and value goal. In the process of Chinese-style modernization, the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core constructed a theoretical system and practice pattern of community with China characteristics in the new era, which provided Chinese wisdom and solutions for the formation of harmonious relationships between nations,countries,individuals and society, humans and nature in the process of globalization and modernization, pointed out the realistic direction for human society to move towards a real community, and realized the contemporary development of Marx and Engels’ community thought.
