Zhu Xuewei: How can Marx’s dialectics of “rational form” be “reasonable”?
Release time: 2024-09-03
The dialectics of “rational form” is an important cornerstone for understanding Marxist dialectics and Marxist theory. Marxism is the unity of theory, practice, and social form. The proposal of its dialectical theory provides theoretical guidance for the development of the proletarian revolutionary movement, and the goal of its theory and practice is to create a new social form that replaces the capitalist social form. Therefore, Marx elucidated the relationship between his dialectics and Hegelian dialectics from a theoretical perspective, analyzed the relationship between his dialectics and the proletarian revolutionary movement from a practical perspective, and analyzed the relationship between his dialectics and communist society from a social form perspective. These three relationships imply that Marx’s dialectics of “rational form” has three tasks: to theoretically demonstrate the rationality of dialectics of “rational form”, to demonstrate the rationality of proletarian revolutionary movement in practice, and to demonstrate the rationality of communist society in social form. This is where Marx’s dialectics of “rational form” lies, demonstrating how the essence of Marx’s dialectics of “rational form” is critical and revolutionary. It also reveals how Marx constructs dialectical theory, applies dialectics in the process of real revolution, and applies dialectics in the outlook for future society.
