China has blazed a trail of modernization that suits its basic national conditions, objective reality, cultural traditions, political systems, ways of thinking and other elements to foster its own developmentfor modernization. Chinese path to modernization has pervasively demonstrated its originality, which highlights distinctive Chinese characteristics, breaking the theoretical and discourse monopoly of the Western world on the path to modernization. From the perspective of Chinese characteristics, China’s modernization is the modernization that activates Chinese civilization, suits China’s reality, adheres to the concept of “Putting the People First”, follows unique strategies and methodologies, and presents a new model for human civilization. It has provided a powerful force for building broad consensus on cooperation, promoting the development of world history, and leading the advancement of human civilization.
