China’s peaceful development has brought about changes in the world pattern, making the United States feel that its global hegemony is threatened and challenged. Based on the hegemonic thinking of “no threat is allowed”, the Trump administration began to emphasize “competition” against China, listed China as an ideological opponent, and suppressed and contained China in multiple fields. Since Biden became the US president in 2021, he has repeatedly increased his efforts to contain China ideologically, intending to draw lines of demarcation by ideology and making an international antiChina alliance to isolate and contain China. In view of the essence and characteristics of the Biden administration’s ideological containment of China, we must strengthen the top layer design, firmly grasp the leadership of ideological work and further strengthen our mainstream ideology and public opinion to maintain our ideological security.
