The reason why the socialist ideological discourse has strong cohesion and leading force lies in the scientificity and truth of its theory, the people and epochal character of the value position, the practicalness and openness of the theoretical character. The “two establishments” have a solid scientific foundation because they embody the basic principles of Marxism on the dialectical relationship between the masses and leaders,social existence and social consciousness; they have withstood a century of historical verification because they embody the people-centered law of development; they present realistic inevitability because they meet the needs of contemporary China’s great socialist modernization and rejuvenation; they have achieved institutional arrangement and jurisprudential construction because they meet the practical requirements of modern national governance system and governance capacity, and thus become the source of the power for the strong cohesion and leading force of ideological discourse in the new era.
