The Chinese path of modernization is an independent path of development formed through people’s exploration led by the CPC. Having gone through an evolution process from passive response to active development, from relying on Western sources to China’s independent development, from single industrialization to multi-dimensional modernization, the Chinese path of modernization has distinctive features of being progressive, people-centered, coordinated and inclusiveness. Such a path has broken the Western monopoly of the discourse on the model of modernization and mode of human civilization. It contains unique Chinese genes and distinctive Chinese characteristics, and provides Chinese wisdom and Chinese solutions for the vast number of developing countries to achieve modernization. On the new journey ahead, we must always adhere to the overall leadership of the Party, give full play to the main role of the people, firmly follow the path of independent development, follow the strategic thinking of coordinating the“two overall situations”, and consolidate the consensus over the value of common prosperity, so as to continue to push forward the Chinese path of modernization and contribute Chinese strength to the progress and development of human civilization.
