The current world socialism is a unifying concept that includes various schools of socialist thought and different forces of socialism. With the continuous development of socialism with Chinese characteristics, the world socialist movement presents a new pattern of development, and there are many major theoretical and practical issues that need in-depth studies. The communist party of each country is the main force of the world socialist movement, and its existence and development have an important impact on the world socialist movement. Socialist countries and capitalist countries are engaged in a fierce competition over development paths and institutional models, and the trend that “the East is rising and the West is declining” has become increasingly evident, while “looking to the East” and “leaning towards China” have become popular currents of thought. To transcend capitalism and build a community with a shared future for mankind is the inherent requirement and inevitable choice of human development and progress, and will promote the revival of world socialism.
