Since the 1980s and 1990s, capitalism has gained yet another development with the globalization of economy and development of information  technologies.The  global  expansion  of financial  capital  has  brought the  development of capitalism to an unprecedented level, forming a world system of financial imperialism. This development,however,has not caused any change in the fundamental characteristics of parasitism and decadence at the root of such system, which is taking a step further towards its ultimate collapse under the impact of the financial crisis. Even thought we will not see it in the very near future, the tendency of such collapse is in fact irreversible.
