Yuan Enzhen:From the New Economic Policies in the Soviet Union to the new idea of Chinese develoment
     Release time: 2017-06-22

Among the activities in memorial of the 100th anniversary of the great victory of the October Revolution of 1917, the relationship between new economic policies in the Soviet Union and the policy of reform and opening-up in China deserves our attention. The reform and opening-up policy in China to some extent is the inheritance and development of Lenin’s new economy policies. However, Lenin’s new economic policy lasted for only a short time, which could only be treated as a primal challenge towards traditional Marxist theories.Denying and falsifying the Stalin pattern which denied the new economic policy, the reform and opening-up policy in China is a practice of denial of the denial. After nearly forty years’ practice, the reform and opening-up policy is undoubtedly more abundant and realistic in contents than the new economic policy. Moreover, we have developed a new mode and pathway for socialism in the new age under the new banner of the socialism with Chinese characteristics.
