The leadership of CPC is the essence of socialism with Chinese characteristics, which is defined by the pathway to socialism with Chinese characteristics as well as the pioneering nature of CPC.Chinese pathway is rather opened up and explored by Chinese people under the leadership of CPC than designed and outlined by classical Marxist authors in advance.CPC has long been consistent with the unification of maximum and minimum programs either in New Democratic Revolution or in the construction of socialism.To carry on the mission of building up socialism with Chinese characteristics,CPC shall hold fast to its initial determination, run the party with strict rules, and uphold the banner of communism.
