Socialism with Chinese characteristics is never part of so-called“democratic socialism”，but falls into the category of scientific socialism. The continuous and essential uniformity between socialism with Chinese characteristics and scientific socialism lies in the basic theories and principles of scientific socialism which is the most direct rationale of socialism with Chinese characteristics; and as well socialism with Chinese characteristics is the application，development and innovation of Marxism and its scientific socialism. As the new form of scientific socialism in China，socialism with Chinese characteristics not only has continuous and essential uniformity with scientific socialism，but also has relative differences，such as the particularity and innovation in theory and practice.
