Nowadays，social ideologies and values in our country are increasingly diversifying.To sum up there are seven major social ideological trends including neo-liberalism，democratic socialism，neo-leftism classicism，eclectic Marxism，traditional Marxism and innovative Marxism. These ideological trends all have their own distinctive political positions,viewpoints and social opinions and are in fiercer and fiercer dispute. Of all these trends，innovative Marxism，considering objective demands of development of China-characteristic socialism，put forward many constructive views，including completing and improving political economic，cultural, and social institutions of China-characteristic socialism. Thus, whether this trend will become the mainstream thought of Chinese academic world will determine the direction and destiny of Chinese socialism.
