Wang Yupeng: Lenin’s Thoughts on the Political Tasks of the Proletarian Party and Their Implications: An Examination Based on The Tasks of the Russian Social Democrats
     Release time: 2025-08-19
Unclear tasks lead to a blurry direction. In The Tasks of the Russian Social - Democrats, Lenin pointed out that at that time, the political task of the proletarian party was to lead the proletariat to carry out thorough class struggle. To advance and complete this task, it was necessary to not only unite with allies to oppose and overthrow common enemies, but also maintain the independence of the proletariat within the revolutionary alliance. The proletariat is an advanced fighter in class struggle. Integrating socialist activities with democratic activities organically, and overthrowing the autocratic system through political struggle to ultimately achieve socialism is the action program for the proletariat to advance its political tasks. At the practical level, Lenin called for strengthening the dissemination of socialist and democratic ideas, combining agitation work with the practical problems in workers’ lives, and establishing a solid revolutionary organization among urban factory workers. Lenin’s thoughts on the political tasks of the proletarian party have important implications for the Communist Party of China in advancing great undertakings and realizing great dreams under new historical conditions.
