
Deng Xiaoping was one of the monumental figures of the 20th century in China. In a new era marked by significant historical shifts, the people once again turned to Deng Xiaoping. Throughout the ever-changing landscape of his times, Deng Xiaoping steadfastly integrated Marxism with contemporary Chinese realities and the spirit of the age, resulting in a series of groundbreaking theoretical advancements. He paved the way for the construction of socialism with distinctive Chinese characteristics, laying the foundation for what would later be known as Deng Xiaoping Theory.In his later years, facing monumental challenges within China’s socialist development, Deng Xiaoping unfailingly clung to his ideals and beliefs, inspiring a resilient struggle that embodied the essence of a proletarian revolutionary. Advocating vigorously for opening up to the outside world while intelligently and tenaciously fighting against forces that undermined China’s interests, Deng Xiaoping upheld unwavering faith and steadfastly maintained close ties with the people. His legacy includes a resolute commitment to the Party's fundamental principles and strengthening of the Party unity, leaving behind a valuable spiritual heritage for us to cherish.
