Lan Yang: Marx and Engels’ Comments on the “Polish Question” and Its Contemporary Implications
     Release time: 2024-08-13
Marx and Engels’ research on the Polish question runs through the vision and method of historical materialism, and has a unique theoretical connotation. Concerned about the fate of the Polish people, they explored the historical evolution, strategic value, complexity of the Polish question, dialectical categories, and the way forward in broad and in-depth terms, and saw these seemingly inconsequential objects as an entry point for understanding the general transformation of the world. In the face of the difficult and tortuous recovery of the world economy and the frequent occurrence of international and regional hotspot issues, it is all the more necessary for us to inherit the essence of Marx and Engels’ evaluation of the Polish issue, further sort out the broad historical vision, scientific analysis methods and progressive value orientation contained in it, scientifically handle complex international issues with overall, dialectical, phased and transcendent thinking, make every effort to overcome various difficulties and challenges on the way forward, and construct a “Chinese solution” to solve the world’s problems.
