Pei Zhi: On the Theoretical Consciousness of the CPC and Its Content Evolution—From the Perspective of Marx’s World History Theory

Marx’s theory of world history is the fundamental theoretical basis for examining the historical fate of colonial and semi colonial peoples and countries since modern times. Because of its theoretical consciousness, the CPC attaches great importance to using Marx’s world history theory to analyze China’s problems and grasp China’s national conditions. The theoretical consciousness of the CPC has shown different emphasis in different stages due to the evolution of the theme of world history. Among them, it is clear that getting rid of the shackles of the “capitalism imperialism” system with scientific socialism is the first and intuitive presentation of the theoretical consciousness of the CPC after its establishment. Achieving the unity of the Chinese attribute and the international attribute of Marxism is a consensus cognition that the CPC has condensed through summing up the experience and lessons in practice and is accepted by the whole party. The theoretical refinement of China’s experience with world historical significance is mainly reflected in the core content of the theoretical consciousness of the CPC people in different periods in respecting historical laws and grasping historical initiatives. The above three aspects vividly demonstrate the content evolution of the CPC’s theoretical consciousness under the vision of Marx’s world history theory.
