In the new era, it is necessary to consider a series of basic issues such as ideological security with the overall national security concept and the overall ideological security concept. At present, the connotation and extension of China’s ideological security are richer, the space-time field is broader, and various factors are more intricate and complex, and China’s ideological security is facing the security risks such as “the challenge of diversity”, “the challenge of market profit-seeking”, “the challenge of infiltration and containment by hostile forces”, and “the challenge of new media and new technologies”, etc. At present, the struggle between different ideologies is mainly manifested as “identity competition”, and mainstream ideologies and non-mainstream ideologies are engaged in fierce competition in aspect of value orientation, social control and integration, political legitimacy and other basic functions. It is imperative to build a national ideological security system, and we need to focus on building a more active international ideological security system and an ideological identity system based on people’s hearts.
