The development of the international communist movements and world socialism in 2021 consists of the following major events: First, the Communist Party of China has solemnly celebrated its centennial anniversary, and the brilliant achievements of socialism with Chinese characteristics have won the appreciation of all countries in the world; second, the four foreign social countries in the world convened new party congresses to actively fight the epidemic and promote economic and social development; third, the non-ruling Communist Parties persisted in fighting within and outside parliaments,making adaptive adjustments to seek room for survival and development. At the same time, communist parties and Marxist scholars from all over the world reviewed the historical experiences and lessons of the Paris Commune and the disintegration of the Soviet Union, and looked back on the revolutionary ideas of the revolutionaries in the early days of the international communist movement, aiming to learn from history and cope with practical challenges. In 2022, the continuation of COVID-19 epidemic and the outbreak of the Russian-Ukrainian war have increased the risk of imperialism launching a war,and the international communist movement will face new impacts. However, the magnificent century-old history of the Communist Party of China will inspire the Communist parties around the world to firmly orient themselves and continue to march toward a glorious future.
