Chen Fei:Marx's Critique of Capitalist Distributive Justice at Four Levels
     Release time: 2017-08-05

The critique of capitalist distributive justice is an important component of Marx's critical theory of capitalism.Capitalist distributive justice is an illusion at four levelsnamely, economy, rights, morality and its future. At the economic level, the distribution system of capitalist society is unjust to the working class who are heavily exploited. At the level of rightsthe distribution of rights in capitalist society is just in legal or formal terms, but workers have no capacity to actually enjoy it, which makes it unjust in the end. At the leve1 of morality, the distribution system of capitalism is contrary to the moral ideas of the proletariat and therefore is unjust. Finallywith regard to its futurethe distribution system of capitalism contains double injustice because it goes against two principles of justice at the same time,i. e.,distribution according to work and distribution according to needs.
