Mao Letang:Labor Justice: The Connotation and Value of Marxist Justice Theories
     Release time: 2017-07-28

The so-called “Marx rejecting justice” perspective, resulting from the “Tucker-Wood” proposition, has become popular among schools of Marxism both at home and abroad. The perspective leads to theoretical awkwardness and practical confusion in studies of Marxist justice and the socialist undertaking of maintaining justice and fairness. Hence,we shall correctly understand the core and essence of Marxist justice theories, eliminating related misconceptions and confusion. Marx didn’t generally reject justice or deny justice itself. “The vacancy of justice” never exists in Marx’s ideology.Marx’s thoughts on justice was expanded through capitalism criticism and human liberalization. On the one hand,he dedicatedly criticized the capitalist lie of “the permanent justice of capitalism”, invalidating the abstract discourse of “capitalist justice”; on the other hand, he dialectically built up the perspective of labor justice on the basis of a proletariat stance and practical working. Therefore, labor justice constitutes the kernel and fundamental appeal of Marxist justice ideology.
