The development of mixed ownership economy is constructed on the basis of a diversified ownership structure, which dominates contemporary ownership economies in the countries and regions of market economy.The 3rd Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee defined mixed ownership economy as a crucial approach to building up the fundamental socialist economic mechanism.The reform of collective economy in terms of ownership hybrid turns out to be diversified in form, expansive in connotation and significant in function. The joint stock cooperative system served as a significant practice of bringing about the collective economy reform and developing mixed ownership economy. The further work on deepening the reform of collective economy mainly lies in developing mixed ownership economy. Taking collective capital as the core link, regarding cooperative shareholding system as an importance realization form, and considering stock system as the major realization form, we should take active and orderly measures to reform and develop the mixed ownership economy which involves diversified ownership through the hybrid of national, social, and individual capital, with collective capital as controlling or common shareholders.
