For a long time, there has been a strong voice proposing the replacement of state-owned economy with private economy (private ownership economy) and criticizing and denying SOE as a symbol of socialist countries and foundation of the CPC administration.It shall be ensured that China is a socialist country under the guidance of Marxism, and that we shall distinguish the distinctive nature and functions of state-owned economy in socialist and capitalist countries as well as uphold the statement that state-ownership-centered public economy is the political foundation of the Party and governmental administration.The implementation of mixed ownership economy shall wipe out complete private capitalization or shutting down on state-owned economy.Rather, the co-development and national economy doesn’t run counter to people’s preference,livelihood and will. Recognizing the status and function of state-owned economy shall be in line with Marxism theoretical and socialism practical logic.We should avoid the unscrupulous statement that the efficiency of state-owned economy is necessarily lower than that of private-owned economy, the idea of replacing state-owned economy with private-owned economy, and the direction of “State Ebb and Private Flow”.
