With unprecedented growth in the economicdevelopment and comprehensive national strength, it is necessary to assess the situation from a strategic perspective, andeffectively enhance the self-confidence of the whole society in taking the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics,learning and adhering to the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics so as to fundamentally change“soft in one, hard in another”situation,which has existed in our work for a long time.In this regard, those who engage inthe humanities and social sciences must assume their duties, have clear awareness for making due contributions topromoting, studying and developing the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics,the theoretical system and thesystem.Only by fully understanding the hardships in exploring the road, only starting from a perspective of history, feelingevery step of our exploration through a lot of hard work, can we profoundly have an identification with this great road;whileonly consciously inheriting the pioneering spirit of predecessors, can we truly establish our self-confidence.
