Tang Aijun: On the New Mode of Human Civilization Communication
     Release time: 2025-07-04
As history evolves into world history, human civilization exchanges have entered an era of universal interaction. Through the global expansion of capital, Western civilization has shifted from being a particular civilization to a universal one, dominating global civilization communication.Rooted in an egocentric worldview, Western civilization has formulated a “Western-centered model of civilization communication,” in which the West exerts dominance over civilization’s essence, inter-civilizational relations, and exchanges. This model is founded on critical components, including the singular view of civilization, the theory of civilization hierarchy, the civilizational mission, and the theory of history’s end. It strives to justify the global spread of a singular civilization, yet this approach is both theoretically flawed and practically harmful. To address the global communication crisis, it is essential to transcend this Western-centered framework and establish a new model for human civilization exchanges,The Communist Party of China has introduced a theory of civilizational exchange, offering Chinese wisdom and solutions for guiding world civilization.
