The historical writing of the prehistory of the Party by the Communist Party of China(CPC) has undergone a process of change from the near to far past, that is, from the May Fourth Movement to the Revolution of 1911 and then to the Opium War. The lat er the time, the longer the writing of the prehistory of the CPC and the wider the scope. The CPC’s historical writing of the prehistory of the Party is not only influenced by politics, but also by politicians, with its main purpose to prove the historical inevitability of the emergence of the CPC.
