As one of the earliest important concepts in the excellent traditional Chinese culture, “seeking truth from facts” has been generally developed along four levels in the long historical evolution process, and with the continuous development and enrichment of Chinese culture, it has gradually deepened and expanded into an ideological concept with profound Marxist philosophical epistemological connotation.  Tracing back the long history of the development of the idea of “seeking truth from facts”, we can find that the Party’s ideological line of “seeking truth from facts” has come from the ancient Yuelu Academy, from the profound Huxiang culture, from the long tradition of excellent Chinese culture, from the great struggle practice of the Chinese people, and from the unremitting struggle of the Chinese Communists for more than 100 years. It is a successful example and shining example of combining the basic principles of Marxism with China's concrete reality and fine traditional Chinese culture.
