As a great pioneer of adapting Marxism to the Chinese context and the needs of our times, Mao Zedong has made an outstanding example in opening up new realm from four aspects, i.e. adhering to the soul of Marxism and the root of fine traditional Chinese culture; timely and judiciously addressing the issues of building a new type of proletarian political party winning the victory of the new -democratic revolution, and promoting socialist revolution and construction: making efforts to promote the systematization and rationalization of the Party’s theoretical innovation achievements, forming Mao Zedong Thought.drawing theoretical innovation wisdom from maintaining close ties with the masses, conducting in-depth investigations, and summarizing the practical experience of the masses. Reviewing Mao Zedong’s exemplary role in opening up a new realm of adapting Marxism to the Chinese context and the needs our times, it is of great guiding significance for people to deepen our understanding of the Party’s theoretical innovation, to master the scientific methods of advancing the Party’s theoretical innovation, and to constantly promote theoretical innovation on the basis of practice.
