The Party has always attached great importance to cultivating and practicing core socialist values as a major theoretical and practical issue, taking it as a fundamental task in the building of a socialist culture with Chinese characteristics and an important part of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. Since the 18th National Congress of the Party, the Party has enhanced the functional position and enriched the connotations of core socialist core values. In the new era and new journey, to cultivate and practice socialist core values, it is significant to constantly free our minds, explore paths and methods, strengthen self-confidence in values, uphold openness and inclusiveness, adhere to integrity and innovation, and insist on the combination of the two principles.
