The basic tenets of Marxism is a systematic and integral summary of the position, viewpoint and method of Marxism. The basic tenets of Marxism is the soul and support of the whole scientific theory system of Marxism, and its most important, most basic and core characteristic lies in the integrity. The integrity of the basic tenets of Marxism is not only the integration of the three components of “consistency”, but also the threedimensional level of the crisscross “three-dimensional structure”, it reflects the consistency of the spirit of Marxist theory, the quality of practice and the connotation of the times, and also represents the world outlook and methodology of grasping principles and problems in a holistic and overall way, the way of thinking of looking at principles and problems in a holistic, associative, process, and dynamic way, or a way of thinking about principles and problems in a way that penetrates into the connections between the different components and the underlying logic behind those connections. In fact, it also reflects the inherent and dialectical interaction between the integrity of the basic tenets of Marxism and system concept. On the one hand, system concept is the important thought and method of the integrity of the basic tenets of Marxism, which reflects the self-consciousness of insisting on the integrity of the basic tenets of Marxism. On the other hand, the integrity of the basic tenets of Marxism requires us to adhere to the systematic concept in philosophical methodology. As an important world outlook and methodology, system concept is to view and understand things from the viewpoint of system and entirety. To promote the study of the integrity of the basic tenets of Marxism, we should take system concept as the important world outlook and methodology. System concept can provide us with powerful ideological weapons and methods to understand and grasp the integrity of the basic tenets of Marxism and to construct China’s independent knowledge system of the basic tenets of Marxism.
