Since the 18 th National Congress of the CPC, General Secretary Xi Jinping has issued a series of important statements on promoting the common prosperity of all Chinese people, which become the basic guideline for concretely promoting the common prosperity on the new journey in the new era. The scientific connotation of these statements is as follows: the Chinese-style modernization is modernization with the common prosperity of all Chinese people, and the common prosperity of all people is an essential requirement of the Chinese-style modernization; the common prosperity is a long-term historical process, and we should focus on the general goal for the development of our country toward 2035 and make substantial progress in promoting the common prosperity of all Chinese people; and we should improve the distribution system to promote the common prosperity. To concretely promote the common prosperity in the new era, we must, under the powerful and unified leadership of the Party, put people in the first place, improve the relevant systems and institutions, consolidate the foundation for common prosperity, and eradicate the potential risks of returning to poverty.
