Building a great modern socialist country in all respects means that under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, we adhere to the people-centered philosophy of development, really implement the socialist purpose of production, fully meet the needs of the people in all areas including material life needs, political democracy needs, intellectual and cultural needs, social governance needs and ecological environment needs and so on. This article starts from the three provisions of generality, particularity and affinity to the people of building a modern socialist country in all respects, putting forward that the essential feature of the Chinese way of modernization is to meet the material, spiritual and public needs of the people. The process of socialist production meeting the needs of the people cannot be completed entirely by the unconscious trial-and-error mechanism of the market, but must be promoted by the construction of a state-led market economic system under the leadership of the Communist Party of China.
