Chinese-style modernization containing a series of special characteristics, is the concrete presentation of the historical achievements of the CPC’s century-old struggle, and is the unity of Marxist scientific theory and Chinese socialist development road. The historical premise of Chinese-style modernization is the establishment of the socialist system and the accumulation of industrialization, and the basic conditions for its realization are economic growth and political stability. The key to the success of Chinese-style modernization is to strengthen the irreversibility of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and reflect the institutional advantages of socialism with Chinese characteristics in institutional competition. Adhering to marxism as the guidance, and adhering to the socialist economic system to promote the development of productive forces, are the characteristics of Chinese modernization differed from western modernization. A great contribution of Chinese modernization to human progress which creates a new form of socialist Chinese civilization, is to get rid of the narrow limits of capitalist civilization. It is the unique connotation of Chinese modernization to scientifically deal with the dialectical relationship of mutual restriction and promotion between politics and economy under socialist conditions.
