Socialism with Chinese characteristics is an important part of human exploration of socialism, an important stage in the development history of scientific socialism, and a fundamental achievement made by the Chinese people under the leadership of the Communist Party of China. The successful practice of scientific socialism in China has given Marxism new strength and written a “new version” of scientific socialism. Socialism with Chinese characteristics has successfully answered the historical question of “what is socialism and how to build socialism”, making scientific socialism glow with great vitality in China in the 21st century; has successfully explored a new path of Chinese style modernization, expanded the way for the developing countries to move towards modernization, and created a new form of human civilization; has successfully constructed the socialist system with Chinese characteristics, demonstrated the superiority and institutional advantages of socialist countries, and reversed the passive situation of the competition between socialism and capitalism; and has successfully improved Marxist political parties and enriched the theory and practice of Marxist political party building.
