Ninety years ago, namely 1930, when Mao Ze-dong first proposed the concept of“ideological line”, the ideological line of the CPC embodied the core connotation of“creating a new situation out of struggle”. The connotation is the essence of the CPC’s ideological line and its proper meaning, the key to its success of century-long exploration, and a fundamental requirement for the great struggles with many new historical characteristics in the new era. Adapting ourselves to this fundamental requirement, we should adhere to the attitude, spirit, and the ideological line of emancipating the mind and seeking truth from facts to study new situations and solve new problems in socialist reform and construction, to carry out work creatively, and to constantly enrich and develop Marxism.
