The integration of scientific spirit and value orientation is the core essence and the theoretical soul of scientific socialism. Over the past 70 years since the founding of New China, the CPC members have continued to organically combine the basic logic of scientific socialism with the historical logic of China’s social development. In particular, the rapid rise into a new era on the road to socialism markes China’s entry in the 21st century into a new realm of socialism that is unique, dynamic and worldwide miraclous. Socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era shows new direction that transcends capitalism, highlights the revitalised nature of contemporary scientific socialism, and represents a new hope for human progress. Looking ahead, we can confidently expect that socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era will follow the track of scientific socialism to create a new glory of socialism in the 21st century.
