With particular emphasis that “ideological work is an extremely important task of the party”, Xi Jin-ping brought the significance attached to ideological work by the proletarian revolutionary leaders and the proletarian party to a new historical height through a series of theories, ideas and many effective measures. From the perspective of Marxist classical writers'attention to ideological work or the challenges and tests that the party is faced with in the new era, especially the party's great struggle since the 18th CPC Congress and the call of the times, the thesis that “ideological work is an extremely important task of the Party” as the important kernel of Xi Jin-ping's ideological thoughts, has scientific theoretical basis, great realistic importance, and tremendous guiding significance, which we should bear in mind in the new historical starting point to open our new journey and compose a new chapter.
