To uphold traditional Chinese cultures, we shall adhere to the guidance of Marxism,affirm the contemporary values embedded in traditional Chinese cultures. Traditional cultures come with national essence as well as feudalistic and obsolete gross.Hence, we shall uphold a critical and unbiased attitude to distinguishing essence from gross,uphold and publicize the profoundness and broadness of refined traditional cultures,and prevent the infiltration of feudalistic cultures into socialist ones. Glorious revolutionary cultural traditions bred in the course of great revolutions and fights under the leadership of the CPC not only inherit and develop Chinese national spirits,but also promote the birth and shape of times spirits at new stage and enrich the contents of socialist cultures.
