Assessing western economics in a dialectical way is the urging need to develop and modify socialist market economy and socialist political economics with Chinese characteristics.In terms of political stance, schools of western economics take side with the ideology of capitalism. As for their perspectives, western economics are western economists'summary of several-hundred-year experience of market economy in capitalist countries. Hence,when assessing western economics,we shall always stick to a people-oriented stance, start from the reality of socialist market economy, reasonably draw from their beneficial ideologies and methodologies,and develop and improve socialist political economics with Chinese characteristics.
