Cui Jianzhou:The Experience and Implications of Normalization of Political Life within the Party during Yan'an Period

Yan'an period was the important historical period in which the political life became normalized within the Communist Party of China(CPC).During this period, theories of party building further matured, laws and regulations were improved and the political life within the party was gradually freed from the wrong leftist tendencies. The experiences of normalization of political life within the party during Yan'an period includes the following:always establish and uphold the right line of thought; establish and improve institutional and regulatory system;strengthen education of party members;stand firmly against erroneous tendencies;and give full play to the examples of leaders.Nowadaysthe same problems still exist in the party to various degrees. Thereforelearning from the Yan'an experience is of prominent significance and value for the fulfillmeat of strengthened self-discipline of the party beginning from serious political life within the party.
