On the morning of June 4, 2024, Xin Xiangyang, President of the Academy of Marxism, organized the reception of the delegation of the theoretical cadres of the World Communist Party, which was invited by the International Department of the Central Committee of CPC, and arranged discussion and exchange activities. The delegation of the theoretical cadres of the World Communist Party was led by Nader Choudhury, Joint General Secretary of the National Socialist Party of Bangladesh. It was composed of 20 Communist Party leaders and young and middle-aged theorists from 18 countries, including Denmark, Moldova, the United Kingdom and Chile, etc. The delegation carried out a fruitful discussion with relevant experts and scholars of the Academy of Marxism on Chinese modernization, the world significance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and other issues of common concern to the World Socialist Movement.

Lin Jianhua extended a warm welcome to the visit of Nader Chaudhuri and the delegation, and made a brief introduction of the general situation of the Academy of Marxism. Head Chaudhury delivered a speech and said that change on a scale unseen in a century requires greater political wisdom and requires all mankind to work together to face the future and share the future. Therefore, he sincerely appealed to the members of the delegation to cherish this rare opportunity to gather together in China, deeply exchange theoretical innovation and practical experience, spread and share the information they have learned in China with comrades who are committed to the realization of the communist ideal after returning.
President Xin Xiangyang made a thematic report entitled "The blueprint of Chinese modernization and a community with a shared future for mankind", which resonated with the members of the delegation and was interrupted by applause many times. Xin Xiangyang said that Chinese modernization is an important part of world modernization, and it promotes the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind in answering a series of modernization problems facing humanity. The Chinese modernization goals for 2050 have triple world historical significance, that is, it is the road to build a strong socialist country, promote the vigorous development of world Marxism, as well as reshape the landscape of global modernization. The Chinese modernization goals for 2035 aim to significantly strengthen China’s national cultural soft power by creating mankind’s new market civilization and new industrial civilization. Finally, by quoting a passage from General Secretary Xi Jinping's keynote speech at the high-level dialogue between the Communist Party of China and world political parties on March 15, 2023, President Xin Xiangyang summarized the blueprint of Chinese modernization and its world significance: Based on its own national conditions and drawing on the experience of other countries, Chinese modernization not only inherits history and culture, but also integrates modern civilization, not only benefits the Chinese people, but also promotes the common development of the world, which is the broad road for our national power construction and national rejuvenation, as well as the only way for China to seek human progress and world harmony.
Dai Lixing, vice director of the Department of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, made a thematic report entitled "The World Significance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era". In combination with the specific circumstances, President Xin Xiangyang, Vice President Lin Jianhua and researcher Zhang Jianyun of the Department of Fundamental Principles of Marxism respectively gave frank, concise and theoretical answers to the above questions.
Lin Jianhua affirmed the friendship gained by all parties through this exchange with the poem "If you have friends who know your heart, distance cannot keep you apart" by Wang Bo, a poet of the Tang Dynasty, and expressed the hope that the Communists and theorists of various countries will continue to maintain close exchanges and contact with our academy in the future.
