Abstract: To correctly understand and vigorously promote Chinese-style modernization, it is necessary to place it in the spatial and temporal realm of different frames of reference for comparison with methodological consciousness. Unlike Western capitalist modernization, Chinese-style modernization has transcended the various drawbacks of the Western political party system to realize the conscious promotion of top-level design, transcended the logic of capital to adhere to the people-centered value orientation, and transcended the old path of outward expansion and plunder to open up a new path of peaceful development without hegemony, thus demonstrating the greatest advantage of the Party’s leadership, the value advantage of putting the people first, and the road advantage of peaceful development. Unlike the Soviet model of socialist modernization, Chinese-style modernization adheres to upholding fundamental principles and breaking new ground and continuously promoting the adaption of Marxism to the Chinese context and the needs of our times, adheres to and improves the system of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and promotes the modernization of the national governance system and capacity. It is an all-round modernization that is rich, strong, democratic, civilized, harmonious, and beautiful, which demonstrates the advantages of the Party’s theoretical innovation, the unique advantages of China’s system, and the advantages of comprehensive and coordinated development. The successful practice of Chinese-style modernization has historically transcended the “Western-centrism”, “the proposition of the end of history” and “the theory of clash of civilizations”. It expands a new path towards modernization for developing countries, provides new impetus for the revitalization of world socialism and creates a new form for the development and progress of human civilization.
