Abstract: The proposition of “promoting the systematization and rationalization of theories” is not only an inherent requirement of the Party’s theoretical innovation, but also an indication that the study of the Party’s innovative theories in China’s theoretical circles has to enter a new stage, phase and level. Systematization focuses on the logical structure and the overall framework between the theoretical viewpoints as well as their integrity and completeness, while rationalization focuses on the in-depth excavation of the thought, the rationalization of discourse expression, the rationalization of content interpretation, the rationalization of essence generalization, and the logicization of theoretical construction. The systematization inherently requires the rationalization, and the rationalization serves the systematization. Most of the existing research puts in extra efforts on the branches of the system, the overall strategy, the comprehensive safeguards, the main body of the leadership, and the original contributions, although it is valuable, the research on the philosophical roots and the main body of the system is not complete and profound enough. This paper is strictly in accordance with the requirements of the central government on “systematization and rationalization”, and in the research and presentation, we not only know the words but also their meanings, not only know what the matter is but also know why it is so, not only know what they say but also know the truth in it, and on the premise of strict alignment with the “spirit of the central authorities” and respect for the “original intent of the text”, we dig deep into the reason, theory and philosophy behind the relevant major political propositions and assertions, elevating them to the height of the system and delving deeply into the level of rationalization, we strive to present the scientific system and logical structure of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era in a theoretical manner, presented in the following seven basic aspects of the historical orientation, the philosophical foundation, the backbone of the system, the branches of the system, the comprehensive safeguards, the main body of the leadership, and the original contributions.
