New China’s large - scale economy, long - standing history and advanced social system determine that its 75 - year history has a remarkable status in world modern history and exerts an increasingly significant influence on it. This influence is mainly exerted through diplomatic means, appeals, assistance, economic and trade activities, and demonstration. These five forms of influence have manifested differently in various stages and aspects of the 75 - year history. However, in any stage, China has provided positive answers and responses to common human issues. In any aspect, China’s actions and voices have demonstrated support for the pursuit of the “Global South”, safeguarded and promoted world peace, and defended and advanced the cause of human progress. In summary, first, it opposes hegemonism and maintains world peace and stability; second, it opposes both old and new colonialism, supports and assists developing countries in safeguarding sovereignty, eradicating poverty and moving towards modernization; third, it opposes unilateralism and protectionism, and actively participates in and promotes international trade, technical cooperation and ecological protection.
