Self-confidence is a cultural psychological state with a high degree of subjectivity, which includes scientific cognition, emotional identity and value belief, which is internalized into the subject’s strong political determination and spiritual motivation in practical activities, and externalized into the subject’s firm conscious behavior. Socialism with Chinese characteristics is an organic and unified whole of the “four-in-one” of road, theory, system and culture, from road self-confidence to cultural self-confidence, reflecting the mental journey of self-confidence in socialism with Chinese characteristics, and highlighting the internal logic of self-confidence in socialism with Chinese characteristics. In the self-confidence system of socialism with Chinese characteristics, firm road self-confidence is the foundation of the “four self-confidences”, firm theoretical self-confidence is the foundation of the “four self-confidences”, firm institutional self-confidence is the fundamental guarantee of the “four self-confidences”, and firm cultural self-confidence is the ultimate destination of the “four self-confidences”.
