Socialism with Chinese characteristics is composed of four aspects: road, theory, system, and culture. The socialist system with Chinese characteristics is the fundamental guarantee for the development and progress of contemporary China. The socialist system with Chinese characteristics is a rigorous and complete scientific system, and the fundamental, basic, and important systems play the role of the four beams and eight pillars. Among them, the fundamental system is the system that determines the nature of the country, the basic system is the concrete manifestation of the fundamental system in contemporary China, and the important system is the institutional mechanism established on the basis of the basic system. The fundamental system, basic system, and important system are unified within the socialist system with Chinese characteristics. To improve and develop the socialist system with Chinese characteristics, achieve modernization of the national governance system and governance capacity, it is necessary to correctly handle the relationship between the fundamental system, basic system, and important system, and unify them into the great practice of further deepening reform comprehensively.
