　　Abstract 

　　The journal primarily publishes articles on a wide range of important topics, including: studies on Marxist classical works and its developing history, the latest advances and scientific innovations in Marxist theories, the main theories of the communist parties and workers’ parties in various countries, the international communist movement and the development of world socialism, so as to promote the both the consistency of and innovation in Marxist theories in many countries around the world. And by the spirit of upholding fundamental principles and breaking new ground in Marxist theories, the journal aims to solve major theoretical problems and break through roadblocks in the fields of the global economy, people’s livelihood, politics, culture, civilization, ecology, military, international relations, and social movements, thus objectively analyzing erroneous views in various fields, especially criticizing the fallacies and activities of the neo-imperialist and hegemonic alliances at the current stage. 

　　Looking around the globe, the world today is in the midst of changes of a magnitude unseen in a century. The contrast of international forces has undergone profound changes, and in recent decades a large number of emerging market economies and developing countries have embarked on the fast track of development, realizing the rise of a group of countries whose strength, capacity for independent development and international influence have been continuously enhanced, and who are changing the global political and economic structures. The “old ways” of Western neo-imperialist countries of relying on hegemony and power politics have become increasingly impractical, as the international system and order are in urgent need of in-depth adjustment in the light of the changes in the international balance of power. The call for promoting the development of the global governance system in the direction of greater justice and reason has also become increasingly louder. China has always adhered to a foreign policy of peace and justice, standing on the correct side of history and on the side of human progress, working with the world’s anti-hegemonic forces and people of all countries to push the wheels of history towards a brighter future, and contributing China’s solutions for the realization of the overall interests of humankind.
