Han Ci:Mao Zedong’s Basic Experience in Exploring China’s Modernization Road through the “Five-Year Plan”

  The practice of using the “Five-Year Plan” to explore the path of Chinese-style modernization originated from the first generation of central leadership collective of the Communist Party of China with Mao Zedong as the core, Mao Zedong’s historical experience in using the “Five-Year Plan” to explore the road to Chinese-style modernization mainly includes: Formulating development strategies with the Five-Year Plan as the yard-stick; Taking the Five-Year Plan as the focus to solve social contradictions; Grasping the development laws based on the Five-Year Plan as a mechanism to ensure common prosperity. This article systematically summarizes Mao Zedong’s historical experience in using the “Five-Year Plan” to explore the path of Chinese style modernization, which is of great significance to promoting Chinese-style modernization in the new era.
